My First Month as head of customer relations began…

Week one at the office and Hum has got me into the local paper: https://www.edp24.co.uk/business/former-arnolds-keys-estate-agent-opens-own-business-called-vario-1-6449273

Hum gave me loads of treats and cuddles whilst pointing a flashy thing at me, this turned out to be a camera. My face was in the EDP! We got our first house to sell and Hum introduced me to the owner. The lady bought me some meaty treats and she became a firm favourite!
Week Two comes and Hum takes me ‘Leafleting’. It seems that this process is to put bits of paper with our picture on through closed doors. Some doors I could clearly smell other doggo’s behind, but sadly I didn’t meet any. I did however meet some lovely humans! We went in and out of varying gardens dropping these little bits of paper everywhere. Hum had me trained so well at leafleting that when she finally missed a house, I got the opportunity to put my brakes on and marvelled in pointing out ‘Woof’- You missed one! ”Good Boy” she said… That’s more like it! I decided I really liked this ‘leafleting’ stuff, A good way to get to sniff the neighbours!
Week three provided a well needed boost for Hum, our little bits of paper and whatever else she was up to seemed to be working. The little black box on her desk started ringing, which made me just as excited as Hum, Every time the box rang I jumped on her lap and she picked it up to say ‘Hello’. Not only was I now sat in my very own window, on a comfy leather sofa watching the world go by, but I had people visiting me in the office here too! This made me wiggle uncontrollably, Hum was by my side and I got to meet and greet every customer that seemed ‘Dog Friendly’

Week Four and On the 23rd January I had my first ‘SIGN UP’ I attended a meeting with Hum in another Human’s house. At first Hum had me on the lead but within minutes the humans let me off! After inspecting the bits of paper the humans were exchanging I placed myself by the back door wondering what this human’s grass was like… I was quite distracted until the human children came home, boy that made my bum wiggle! The children played with me and Hum smiled whilst she waved around bits of paper with the larger humans, I’ll never forget that smile. I knew from that moment that our life had changed and Hum knew what she was doing. The grass may be a little smaller where we are, but boy is it greener!
